Friendship Garden

The City of Nanjing assisted the Missouri Botanical Garden to design and create the Nanjing Friendship Garden. They contributed the bridge and pavilion in the garden and sent many craftsmen to St. Louis to assist in the construction of the garden.

UMSL and Nanjing University

University of Missouri – St. Louis (www.umsl.edu) and Nanjing University (www.nju.edu.cn) jointly sponsor many activities including a joint MBA program; research conferences; student exchanges; and faculty exchanges.  Although there is activity across many academic areas, the most active participants are the two Colleges of Business. These activities are orchestrated by Dr. Joel Glassman.

SLUH and Nanjing Foreign Language School

Since 1997, St. Louis University High School (www.sluh.org) has teamed up with Nanjing Foreign Language School (www.nfls.com.cn) hosting Chinese students here in St. Louis and sending SLUH students to study in Nanjing, China. The facilitator of the program is Dr. Ching-ling Tai.
