Some programs included in the 2022 wellness activities include:
BOOT CAMP : FREE – Held Tuesday and Thursdays at 7am during term time – starting back 25/2, meet at the Alan Mitchell Sports Centre / Gym.
Boot Camp is next level! We have focus areas and testing to help your motivation and progress too.
It still remains free to you all, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7am is your time! Beginning 27/7, you can attend some or all of the days, it’s completely up to you!
ACTIVATION (SIMPLE GAMES & ACTIVITIES)
Activation is held across term time, from 10am – 3pm at the Hub or Anchor court. Get active and moving, use your breaks for fun with friends or to simply deload your brain from all that study! Badminton, quoits, finska, basketball, footy and more!
FREE RUNNING GROUP
Do you run, but want to do it better, faster or more efficiently?
Do you want to run – but have no idea where or how to begin?
Come along on Wednesdays, meeting at the pavilion (top oval) from 6am – 7.15am
For anyone wishing to run 5km, 10km or 21km – complete beginners are welcome!
The amazing Chris Rawling will be running these free sessions… As a former professional athlete he represented Australia in the sport of Olympic distance triathlon. Chris has also worked in the fitness industry for over 8 years and during that time has been lucky enough to work with a wide range of population groups to help them reach the health and physical fitness goals.
